Klattermusen a must!

Well you may say who! But those in the know will get exactly where I'm coming from.

Klattermusen are a Swedish brand started by a hard working entrepreneur Peter Askulv in 1984.
They make outdoor clothing and gear that is tough , reliable and as environmentally friendly as possible. They also happen to have the Scandinavian eye for good design too.

I was lucky enough to be chosen by the company i work for to go on a field testing trip to Northern Sweden and try out some of there gear.

I wont bore you with all the details(they can come later) but to cut a long story short i spent 5 days Snow shoeing around 50km carrying all our own supplies sleeping out using Klattermusen gear and Hilleberg tents.Awesome!

Well the Item of clothing i was most impressed with, amongst others was the "Rimfaxe" Jacket.
I'm still going to get my hands on one when i can afford it!

You can get all the vital statistics at.

You must check them out they are the future!

If anyone asks me what i would like for Christmas it would be this little gem that they also produce.

The New Trousers !

After purchasing a new pair of trousers for work I find myself reluctant to take them off at the end of the day.
The awesome brand that is Patagonia has produced quite simply the best pair of trousers I've ever owned, hands down!
The "Builder" pants are about the comfiest and toughest pair of trousers I've had on.
Their superior qualities are formed from 100% Organic cotton and whilst built to last are very comfortable. With jeans style pockets around the top and a couple of small pockets slightly lower on the legs (one of which my Mobile phone sits perfectly in) and a hammer loop (in case i need somewhere to put it!). Been wearing them now for about two months at least five days a week for work and the odd outing here and there. I cannot find a single problem with them. I may have to get another pair.

Here they are my new friends!
